My Story

My introduction to mental health started as an NCAA Division 1 athlete. Throughout my four year athletic career, I experienced several mental and physical setbacks leading me to consider leaving the sport for good. Despite multiple injuries, unexpected coaching changes, and poor performances, I persevered to accomplish my goal of becoming an NCAA Track & Field All-American.

This inspired me to dedicate my future career to supporting both the psychological wellness and competitive performance needs of athletes and high achieving individuals, leading me to pursue a Master’s Degree in Counseling, with a concentration in Sport Psychology at Boston University.

I understand the unique pressures of pursuing extraordinary goals while balancing the demands of work, school, relationships, and daily stressors of life. I will work with you to discover connections between your current mental blocks and past experiences to provide personalized solutions for long-term success and life satisfaction.

Working with me, you can expect:

  • A collaborative therapist-client relationship where you’re the expert of your own life.
  • To set the expectations for what you want to accomplish in therapy.
  • A safe and secure, nonjudgemental therapeutic environment.
  • Practical strategies to implement between sessions.
  • To deepen your understanding of self and learn to identify your needs.
  • To leave therapy with a confident and courageous mindset strong enough to withstand adversity.
  • Unwavering support, dedication, and commitment to your personal journey.
  • Personalized solutions to continue your growth & development beyond therapy.
